Program description:
All of us have been watching with concern as COVID-19 cases in metropolitan Atlanta and across the country continue to increase. At the same time, it can be difficult to sort through everything we read about the virus, and to understand what that information means for our day-to-day lives now and in the future.
On Wednesday evening, July 22, at 7:00 p.m., Vista Grove Initiative is hosting a special webinar with medical experts from the community focused on answering your questions about coronavirus and COVID-19. Three distinguished healthcare providers, all residents of the Vista Grove community, will spend an hour during a live Zoom discussion reviewing what we know about the recent surge, and how we can best keep ourselves, our families, and others around us safe.
Our panelists will be:
Dr. Antonio Graham, DO
Geriatrician, Atlanta VA Medical Center
Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and
Assistant Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics Dept of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine
Dr. Jimi S. Malik, MD
Assistant Professor
Division of Palliative Medicine
Department of Family and Preventive Medicine
Emory University School of Medicine
Dr. Mehrdod Ehteshami, DO, MPH
Emergency Medicine Attending Physician
Tanner Health System
Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine
Georgia Campus-Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Please e-mail any questions you have or topics you would like to raise to [email protected], and we we make sure they are addressed. Drs. Graham, Malik, and Ehteshami will be taking live questions and follow-up during the webinar.
Thank you, and we look forward to an important and informative Q&A this Wednesday evening.
Sincerely,
Your Vista Grove Volunteer Team
